  1. Tru-Color Paint is pleased to announce that the survey to choose what initial paint sets (up to 6) should be manufactured for the IPMS Convention to be held on August 1-4, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. has gone LIVE on our website as of today, 3/22/18. The website address is : trucolorpaint.com/trucolor-paint-release-survey/ Please take the time to fill out the survey. The more information we have on what set(s) the modelers want to have, then those sets will be the first produced for the convention and for sales to your local hobby shops or online stores. Thank you in advance for taking this survey and we look forward to your input. Martin Cohen, PhD Tru-Color Paint P.O. Box 74524 Phoenix, AZ 85087-4524 714-488-9779 website: trucolorpaint.com
  2. Tru-Color Paint is in the planning stages of developing military paint sets for the modeler. We have about 30 potential sets we could assemble on the drawing board and have produced mock-up art work for all the sets. Our intent is to release 4-6 of these sets at the IPMS National Convention in August of this year. We are requesting the modeler's input as to which of these sets YOU would like to see. Samples of the mock-up sets are attached. These are for the Israeli Air Force Set # 1 and the Metallic Set useful for armor and aircraft models. There will be a poll (or survey) on our website by the end of March showing all of the proposed sets with their composition. We will let you know when the poll is posted on the website so you can vote on the sets we should produce. All military and related areas will be represented - armor, air forces, ships, diorama, figures and detailing and covers the U.S. and Israeli paints (these are the colors currently produced and ready to place into the sets). If you wish to get a jump start on the survey, we can email you a Acrobat file of the description of each set along with their contents. Just let us know if this is wanted by email, this thread or call us. How many manufacturer's request YOUR input on what they should place into production ? Tru-Color Paint listens to our customers and want to be your go to company for accurate, easy to use paint for your models, dioramas, figures, etc. All comments are welcome. 4. Tru-Color Paint is the first model paint company to release both F-22 paints in a simulated radar dispersion/absorption appearance on Oct. 2, 2017. These are designated as: TCP-1214 F-22 Radar Dispersion # 1 (based on Dark Compass Ghost Gray being the base color) TCP-1215 F-22 Radar Dispersion # 2 (based on Light Compass Ghost Gray being the base color) Both have the "metallic" effect already mixed into the paint which causes the painted surface to "sparkle" when viewed at different angles. Each paint is available in 1 oz. ($ 5.69) and 2 oz. ($ 10.25) size bottles from your favorite hobby shop, online store or direct from us. Similar products will be released for the F-35 in April, 2018 along with the first releases of colors for WWII U.S. aircraft with ANA numbers. If you would like to have more information about out product lines, please do not hesitate to ask for a flyer to be sent by regular mail or email. Looking forward to your comments and suggestions.
