I started on this kit several weeks ago. Its from Fly Model company of the Wessex helicopter in 1/32 scale. I am doing a subhunter version. My dream is to use this kit and do an H.34 in Vietnam markings. I was all set to take photos of the real helo at a museum for the nose measurements but sadly the Corona virus hit us so no visit allowed.

Thanks Gil. All i need to mask will be cockpit and bay area, engine. The bay above the cockpit will be added once all painting is done. I also use foam to mask.

Hi My Name is Oliver, i mostly build helicopters in 1/35 scale. I have moved towards dioramas but sadly i do not paint figures yet. I am in the process of finishing an US Navy helicopter diorama with 8 figures. My question is: Can i compete in an IPMS event under the diorama section if i did not paint the figures (the rest of the work is all mine) ?. I have read IPMS rule book but it is unclear to me.
