About Me

I've been a fine scale figure modeler since 1979, when I married Les Walden and he introduced me to the hobby. I'm a member of the North Olympic Peninsula Modelers Society (NOPMS) that meets twice a month in Port Hadlock, WA; I have also been a member of the Military Figure Collectors of Oregon (MFCO). I am currently the Webmistress for our club's website: www.nopms.net.

 

Recently retired, I am looking forward to having more time to model - even though as the eyes get older, the figures have to be painted in larger scales. Some of the best memories I have include model meetings, shows and contests. I look forward to meeting more modelers and sharing the enthusiasm of the hobby. The IPMS/USA Forum is a great avenue for that!
