Squadron rudder colors gloss or flat

I am building the Tamiya P-47D Bubbletop in Frank OIler's Eileen WZ S. After November 1944 squadron ID colors were applied to the rudder.

 

The question I have, is the color gloss, semi-gloss or flat

I'd advise going with a flat paint Tony. In real life, any sheen would wear off quickly, and in "scale" it would appear flat anyway.
