I built 2 Texans and a BT-14 earlier this year using both of those kits, and I have to say I really preferred the Monogram kits over the Occidental, though get the job done. Looking forward to more! ghodges Posted July 11, 2024 Report Posted July 11, 2024 Looking good! I like the Monogram kit better than the Occidental release, but that soft Occidental yellow plastic is MUCH easier to cut than the Monogram styrene! Gil
Jmarc Posted July 11, 2024 Author Report Posted July 11, 2024 Thanksssssssss ,I agree with you MONOGRAM is much better , I have to be carefull cutting it , Plastic as involve a lots , I remember cutting the AVENGER in the 70' wow that was hard to do and some of the fuselage parts shatter but now these days it's more complicated you have to do it slowly just like the REVELL re-issue !

(OCT 31st ) ..Today , I sanded the work done last time , add the front dash , reposition the elevators on the float version and cut the last access panel , and started the inner structure of the tails of the HARVARD version !
