We stopped here on a trip 2 years ago....Nice selection of A/C, BUT, many of there were in horrible states of disrepair, quite a shame really. The stuff inside was OK, but the models I saw in the showcases were in really bad shape. Plenty of other sites in the area(Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Deadwood, Custer Park, Badlands, Black Hills, Missle Silo tours), but I wouldn't make a special trip just to see the museum.

Wonderful, another distracted driver on the roads.

I know one modeler has already posted photos on this forum and we took many many as well and will put them on our web site.

Hmmm... I wonder how I can fix that.....
E
quotes in previous posts don't seem to have a clear beginning and end.
Looks like you just did! The change looks GREAT!! I'm not usually for change to a website(if it's not broke, don't fix it) but this is an improvement!

While it is a nice subject...it's not that great a kit to start with, even if they do include some P/E with it.
Back in the day when they were rare before the first re release they were going for $300+...that's when I sold mine.

Since we're naming non IPMS car clubs there is Masscar model club in Massachusetts...I am not a member but they are a super bunch of people that put on a fantastic show every year, and alos recently opened the contest up to other genres.

Spare Time Shop in Marlbourogh (Malburo), Massachusetts about an hour or so outside of Boston.
Great selection, but the prices are way too high, even with my club discount.
Best one I've ever been to was the Hobby Hut in Clearwater, FL..in 1985. The perfect LHS, astounding selection....Pocher kits IN STOCK. Never saw that before.

Duke,
I went back an searched my links file. I found this link to Bob Lettermans site. He is probably the only one to give you a run for your money as far as the amount of models built.
For those who do not know of BOB, he is the master of the large scale diarama. Here is a link to his site.
Now THAT'S some good stuff! Master is an understatement.

Good to have you here, Pete! "Pay it forward" is a terrific way to go thru life...I applaude you for taking that path, sir.
Later,
Lee
Pete practices what he preaches on the "pay it forward" front, as I myself have been the recipient of his generosity, and have also embraced this philosophy.
Pete, stop being modest and show 'em the Porsche!

There is no need to paint the letters White....there are many pics out there of cars with the Ford unpainted or just plain worn off.

Wow, a female sighting on the first day!
Seeing pics of the contest area....tables are not raised\elevated in some form? We use 18 inch 1.5 inch diameter PVC pipe on the table legs to keep little prying hands off the models, easier on all spectators and judges backs, and still low enough for wheelchair bound visitors.
