THis is my 1/48 scale Mongram Flak Bait . I have always loved this plane and wanted to do it justice as she sits right now. The interior is a combination of plastic from the kit and a paper model kit of the B-26 plus some other parts from paper kits for details. I will be doing the entire plane as she sits right now . My grandfather Flew all his missions in WW2 in B-17's HE was sent home for B-29 training but the war ended and he went home to farm . This is a 3d Print I did and then I thought I need a display . I printed the airforce emblem and the 500 lbs bomb here at home . Had a lot of fun painting Grandpa's nose art Connie . Connie took a 88 shell through the radio room but made it home . during the night her back broke and she got used for spare parts
