  6. Hi all! I have a question that may already have been asked on the forum. If so...please forgive my re-asking. I'm sure everyone is quite familiar with Molotow chrome. It would be so awesome if someone could create a similar paint of other metal colors, such as GOLD. Since such a paint does not exist to my knowledge...does anyone know how to create a metallic gold finish that compares to Molotow chrome? Thank you in advance for any and all responses. Tale care...stay safe!!! Happy Modeling!!! Greg
  7. Thanks a million Highlander & Noel. I really appreciate everyone's responses to my post. Happy Modelling
  8. Thanks a million once again Ralph. I figured it was too good to be true. But I guess it never hurts to ask. What is 5 minutes in modelling anyways!!!! Have a great one! Happy Modelling
  9. Thanks a million Ralph. I have several airbrushes that I use. I was thinking about trying an ultrasound jewelry cleaner with airbrush cleaning fluid. Wondering if anyone had tried that or thought about it. Was hoping it might thoroughly clean the unit without having to break it down after each different paint use. It might just be wishful thinking!!! Once again...many thanks Ralph for your in-depth answer. Happy modelling
  10. Hi All - I am new to this forum and also newly back into modelling, after many years. I am sure this question has been asked a dozen or more times. Please excuse me for asking again. So far...I am sliding right back into it...I guess maybe it's like riding a bike. But the one thing I am having difficulty with and issues is the matter of cleaning my airbrush after each paint use. I most frequently use acrylics, so I guess I am asking about it. Can any member(s) give me advice on the easiest and fastest way to clean my airbrush after each different color of paint. The way I have been doing it, seems to be very time consuming and sometimes almost stops my building completely. I agree I might be wishing for something that doesn't exist...but I thought I would throw it out there. I look forward to this forum and many thanks in advance.

I bet you did have a GREAT time there...I remember the event, but I was working at the fire dept. at that time and my Chief wouldn't approve my leave to attend. Oh well...such is life. Glad to say I'm retired now after putting almost 30 years in the fire service. Thanks again take care...stay safe Greg

  19. Hi All - I am working on building the Heller Citroen Fourgon HY model kit. I am wanting to have it as a Vespa scooter repair/sell van. Does anyone know of any company or individuals that might make any Vespa decals in either 1:24 or 1:25 scale? Thank you in advance and have a great one!!! Happy Modeling Greg

  23. Hi all. First off, I apologize if my question has already been posted but since I'm new to the forum and the IPMS, having just becoming a new member maybe you all will cut me some slack....LOL... Just kidding of course. My question is this...I just purchased a 3D printer, hoping it would help me in my modeling. Is anyone aware of sites, people, etc. that post STL files or other 3D printer files for modeling? Such as aftermarket parts for models. I'm definitely not that artistic and just a newbie when it comes to CAD programs and such. There might even be a place here in the forum for such things but being new just haven't discovered it yet. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide to help and point me in the right direction. HAPPY MODELING!!!
