  1. Digital is absolutely the way to go. The web site activity shows that they could could make it work as a digital mag. I would personally prefer an electronic magazine and would be willing to pay paper subscription prices to get it. I go digital with any magazine where that is an alternative to getting the paper edition. Digital would hugely increase the magazine's net revenues, eliminate all the printing and distribution costs and head-aches, and actually allow them to pay contributors. The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction went to offering either paper subscriptions, or electronic at a cost of only $1 a month. I switched and got it delivered automatically to my iPad. My last issue of Kalmbach's Great Scale Modelling was digital. They use Zinio which is not as convenient as direct delivery but probably easier to implement. Another nice thing about digital for us who are heading down the homestretch of life: I can zoom in to the page to read text or get a closer look at a photo!
