What color did you paint the periscopes? If you didn't use "Fine Molds" what would you have used to fill the periscope voids?

I am new to this board, though I joined a while ago. I have rejoined the modeling community after a long hiatus of 30 + years. My modeling skills are quite rusty at best. I look forward to meeting you and discussing the hobby and the techniques you use to hopefully improve my skills. I am an armor modeler, specifically world war II 1/35 scale and also like to paint figures from the same period. I have begun with a Tamiya Panther Ausf. A which I know has its issues as a kit but its a good piece in my opinion to start with and improve various skills with. I also have dusted off two other older kits and they are in various stages of being built.
