Thanks guys for all the comments...
Yes, well my favorite technique is the three stage process. I use acrylic paints so.......
1st primer coat
2nd preshade flat black
3rd postshade with Tamiya smoke with a 70 - 30 mix (Tamiya thinners)
and for a final touch ill use Phil Flory's promodellers wash black witch by the way is a clay base wash and comes off with just a damp paper towel to desired effect.
thanks again...

Nothing looks deadlier sitting perfectly still on the ground than a Phantom! Could you elaborate on the kit and scale? Also, what was your source for the RBF tags? Nice F-4E, and thanks for posting!
GIL
Hey Gil,
The kit is a Tamiya 1/32 also I didnt use any one particular source for the RBF tags just compilation of photos......
kind regards,

I was checking out G-M's website and seen that they had a bunch of 1/32 scale trumpeter preorders listed. I know there are several things on there that are long awaited (a-6's) plus a few others. One thing that caught my attention was a 1/32 mig-23.
Any hope all these will come out soon?
G-M website? could you give me some info on this site i would like to check it out..... i love the big scales aswell
