    Yes, well my favorite technique is the three stage process. I use acrylic paints so.......

     

    1st primer coat

     

    2nd preshade flat black

     

    3rd postshade with Tamiya smoke with a 70 - 30 mix (Tamiya thinners)

     

    and for a final touch ill use Phil Flory's promodellers wash black witch by the way is a clay base wash and comes off with just a damp paper towel to desired effect.

  2. Nothing looks deadlier sitting perfectly still on the ground than a Phantom! Could you elaborate on the kit and scale? Also, what was your source for the RBF tags? Nice F-4E, and thanks for posting!

    The kit is a Tamiya 1/32 also I didnt use any one particular source for the RBF tags just compilation of photos......

  3. I was checking out G-M's website and seen that they had a bunch of 1/32 scale trumpeter preorders listed. I know there are several things on there that are long awaited (a-6's) plus a few others. One thing that caught my attention was a 1/32 mig-23.

     

    Any hope all these will come out soon? :unsure:

     

    G-M website? could you give me some info on this site i would like to check it out..... i love the big scales aswell
