I experimented with a blue-ish accenting for panel lines, which you often see in artistic renderings (paintings, etc.). I've never repeated it since.... Monogram/Revell 1/48 F-86D. Painted the checks on the tail. Beware of the KIT decals...as you can see, the US Air Force on the side has begun to yellow. That's the cheap decal glue that they use! 1/48 Hasagawa P-38J in ace Tommy McGuire's markings Lengthened the nose gear leg, added resin tires and sanded them a LOT to try to give it the typical nose up stance of a parked Lightning.
