ScottScariot Posted July 15, 2012 Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 I began this model at the beginning of June 2011. Since then I have been slogging away at the model. The model is mostly out of the box. I did replace the kits clear parts with resin aftermarket parts from DLM for the Navigational Deflector and Bussard Collectors and Warp Field Grilles. The model was painted with Model Master Enamels. Light Gray, Intermediate Blue and Light Ghost Gray. The decals are from JT graphics and the detail decals are from DLM. The model was given a wash with Payne's Gray and I flattened the model with flattened Future. I used DLM's Federation flasher board for the navigational flashers and strobes. I really like the effect. Over all I'm very happy with the model. It vertainly took enough time! The model won a Silver award at WonderFest in May. Comments are welcome.
