sumterIII
In the new newsletter (Mosquito-Gram ) from the Jersey guys is an article about a new set of drill bits. However I did not see where you could buy the set. (Maybe I missed it?) Anyone have any sales info? Edited July 10, 2012 by sumterIII
Dick Montgomery
If you visit the New Jersey website you might be able to contact the editor....http://www.njipms.org/ I've seen 'em but I can't remember where...perhaps Northern Tools. ghodges
Drill bits like that are nice, but a word of caution.... Most sets like that are "carbide steel", which works well for plastic. BUT, be aware that you must treat them gently, as they have almost no "sheer" strength, and will snap easily if you apply sideways pressure to the bit while using it. If you're used to the ruggedness of the twisted steel bits you get in the Exacto sets (in the round domed holder), you'll have to learn that you cannot abuse these drill bits like you can the others. So, they're great for drilling holes, but don't try to use them to ream out that hole and enlarge it by wiggling it around in the hole. Hope this helps!
