TGarthConnelly
Hello, I have a question about a budding theory in my head. The AIRFIX S-10 Class Schnellboot kit ... Could that, by a modeler with a lot of skill, be used as the basis for a model of one of the Regia Marina's MS boats? Just wondering. David M. Knights
Garth, I think someone is scheduled to release some of the Italian MAS boats in 72nd soon. Don't remember who.
TGarthConnelly
David, Hi. That was the rumor, yes. Italeri was rumored to be about ready to release a 1:72 kit of the MS (not MAS) boats a few years ago, but nothing came of that. Even if it was true, I could not afford it. I've got an AIRFIX kit in my stash, and I don't want a Schnellboot inasmuch I've got a Revell S-100 built up ....
mquan
How about the 72nd Chorszy Modelbud resin kit?
TGarthConnelly
How much is that kit? And, how big is it? In inches? Garth

TGarthConnelly
$110? Ouch. Even if I had a job - that'd give me pause.
David M. Knights
Wow, I had not see that one built up before. I'll have to look out for it.
philp
Hmm, the comments on the entry form don't build much confidence in the kit. I wish Italeri would release all their boat kits in 72nd. Been wanting to make a PT Barge buster for years but not up to the extra cost of add on parts needed even though they are getting to the point of having it all available. Would also like to see a good Fairmile D MGB.
TGarthConnelly
Roger Pearson of New Zealand will be making a line of 1:72 small combatants soon ... maybe he'll do an Elco eightty-footer. Garth
