The innovative design concept used vectored thrust from jet turbines enabling the aircraft to perform short take off and landings and actually hover unlike any other aircraft in aviation history. The Sea Harrier operated as a fighter-bomber from Royal Navy aircraft carriers during the Falklands war with Argentina. This new Minicraft kit features new markings representing two “Ace” aircraft that successfully shot down rival Argentine fighters during the conflict.
