sumterIII
I need a good book for modeling the KGV and PoW battleships, any suggestions?
mquan
Look no further than Shipcraft 2 - King George V Class Battleships, by Roger Chesneau. Published by Chatham Publishing in 2004, this book is oriented to the modeler with chapters on Design, Careers of the class, Model Products, Modelers Showcase featuring plans, appearance and color schemes, and Selected References for further research should you desire. Good luck with your project Arthur.
Ron Bell
I second that. Great book. Good section on builds of kits in various scales, including everything from 1/600 to giant scratch built ones. Good info, good photos, good plans. sumterIII
The book came today and I finished reading it tonight. I was a bit disappointed that there was not more on details on the mast and radar for PoW and KGV early 1941. I wanted to model the Bismarck battle period. Any suggestions on a book that would fill that need?
