kpatterson
Here are some cockpit photos of my in progress build of the 1/48 Tamiya F-16C. This jet will be done in the blue Flanker scheme. I will be using Afterburner Decals' Arctic Aggressor sheet. The cockpit is Aires and the seat is Quickboost. I prefer the Quickboost seat because of the molded on belts. The data placards on the seat are from the kit decal sheet. More to come... RGronovius
Very nice looking. The last F-16 I did was a Monogram kit I built as a kid in 1/48 scale. I remember the red/white/blue scheme and one of the most realistic pilot figures I had ever seen (compared to Lindberg, Airfix and Matchbox pilots). kpatterson
I got the cockpit installed in the fuselage and got the rear bulkhead filled and sanded to match the contour of the rear deck. The contour of the kit part was different that the Aires tub so I added some styrene shim and filled with CA. Its hard to see in the pictures because of the clear CA but the contour matches the rear canopy deck. Here is a couple of pics.
