Mark Ford
I just read the Woodland Scenics factory has suffered a serious fire to their production facility. Most of us know of the company as it relates to their model RR line, but many use their products for dioramas, figures, etc. I hope they can rebuild and get back into full production soon. kptucker
There was an update released by Woodland Scenics today that was sent to all of their dealers. I read the release on the O-gauge forum that I haunt that while they lost a couple of manufacturing buildings: "Our shipping department, warehouse and corporate offices were spared any damage, as were most of our manufacturing buildings, so it is business as usual." Glad to hear they are going to be up and running... would have been bad to lose them.
Dick Montgomery
Also glad to hear that there were no injuries! I have quite a bit of Woodland Scenics material on my layout as well as on most of my diorama bases for my models.
Hawkeye
I heard yesterday from a reliable source that they were back in business running production and shipping product.
