Wulf
Finished this one today. It's the weekend edition 1/48 Yak-3. It's by no means a weekend build, more like two weeks. However, I was impressed with the kit. Very nice fit, decals and detail for only $12. The only real issue is the fuselage halves are a tad warped which puts the rear stabilizers and rudder at a noticable canter. It's not detectable til everything is together by which time, nothing can be done. The finish is MM acryls with airbrushed and pastel weathering. The mud on the wheels and struts is my pigment/scenic glue mixture. Comments welcomed... Andy
ghodges
Very pretty! I think the 2 tone Russian grey scheme is one of the better looking camo jobs of WWII. Your camo looks really tight! Did you "soft mask" or freehand it? I also like the mud on the bottom of the rudder; a nice little detail! Thanks for posting!
