1/48 Scale Hurricane Mk. IIC “King’s Cup Air Race”

READY TO CAPTURE THE KING’S CUP

First held on September 8, 1922, the 810-mile King’s Cup Race started at the Croydon Aerodome, progressing to Glasgow, Scotland and back. The race was put on hiatus during World War II. Ironically enough, many World War II aircraft were modified into racing planes. The Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIC was no exception, participating in many King’s Cup Races after they resumed in 1949.

This Limited Edition kit feature new metal exhaust pipe parts and two marking options:

  1. King’s Cup Air Race, 99: G-AMAU, 1951
  2. King’s Cup Air Race, 41: G-AMAU, 1950

The 1/48 Hurricane Mk.IIC “King’s Cup Air Race” has 87 parts and a skill level of 3.
