They were widely sold outside of the British army, and were best known for thieruse by the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War. The Flagship Models kit is a dead on accurate representation of this famous 7" rifled cannon used by the Confederate army and navy . Known as the "Alabama Gun", it was famous in that they were used to arm the CSS Alabama during the war. The kit will retail for $95.00 plus shipping and should be available soon.
