ghodges
Put a Lone Star resin 'pit in it. MM enamel paints, except for the silver, which is Floquil Old Silver. Except for the US NAVY on the wing bottoms and the data on the tail fin, the decals are all from the spares box (including an ancient Combat decal sheet from the 70's!). And yes, I noticed one of the white dashes on the fuselage came off! The top wing and tail parts are just sitting on the model for the pic. Still have some detail painting and fiddly bits to add. More pics when its done! Questions and comments welcome! Cheers! GIL Edited November 26, 2011 by ghodges

ghodges
She is done! Rigging was done with floral wire, painted black with a sharpie pen. The prop is Alclad Chrome over a base coat of MM gloss black enamel. The prop logos are dry transfers from Archers. Cheers! GIL

Wildcat
Nice job, sir. Did not know this squadron flew F4B's Not absolutley certain but it may be that only the top half of the front engine air deflector should be blue. Of course, I will defer to your references.
