BA-6

Since the baby carriage needed to have the rockets dark green, I whipped out the BA-6 and gave her a nice coat of the green as well. This photo shows it in gloss decaled and waiting for the wash.

Don't ya just love the incongruity of going to the trouble to paint it green to help it blend in and then putting those nice, bright, circular bullseyes on it!? :smiley20: And y'all wonder why we call 'em targets.....:smiley2:

Gil,

It is being done as a "what-if" or "maybe" Egyptian Army vehicle. They did use the same markings on several other vehicles in their inventory. With everyone using the same vehicles (at that time), you had to come up with some kind of plan to know the good guys from the bad guys. Syria ( I believe) had the R-35 and Israeli also captured and purchased several. No idea how they kept their troops from shooting at their own tanks.

Thanks! I wish they would consider re-molding these vehicles. I have always liked the BA-series. The Eastern Express kit leaves a lot to be desired.
