rdelaney Posted August 26, 2011 Report Share Posted August 26, 2011 I just wanted to let you all know--in case you don't already know--that IPMS/Gateway will present its 2011 Gateway to the West Invitational model contest and swap meet on Sat., Sept. 10, 2011. The show will be held at Hitters' Choice Cages, 534 Workman Rd. (just east of Six Flags St. Louis) in Eureka, Missouri. The show opens at 9:00 am, with contest entries accepted up to 1:00 pm and contest results announced at approximately 3:00 pm. Admission to view the show and shop from the vendors is $3 (children 14 and under are free). Contest registration is an additional $7 (children 14 and under are free) for an unlimited number of models. The contest has 35 categories and 10 "Best of" awards. Besides the contest and the vendors, there will be a free Make and Take for children and their parents from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Additionally, there will be a raffle of kits and related items, with proceeds benefitting the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program in Metro St. Louis.
