Greyhound Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 Just a quick note to remind everyone about the San Diego IPMS Model Expo Model Contest coming up this Saturday June 4th. it will be held at the San Diego Air & Space Museum Annex at Gillespie Field in El Cajon California. This contest also includes a large Model Swap Meet put on by the Air & Space Museum. New this year is The San Diego Model Car Club/IPMS is also participating in this Contest. As a result There will about 15 Model Car Classes in the Contest. So if you are a Model Car builder this would be a great event to attend. In addition The Wings Over Gillespie Airshow is being held the same weekend, so you can see the Airshow from the Model Expo or go around to the other side of Gillespie Field and see all the Aircraft Exibits. You can get more info about this event at the San Diego IPMS web site located on the Clubs listing of the IPMS main web page. Hope to see many of you there.
