bradco
People using Google's Picasa as web pic host (instructions below clarified & updated on 01/23/11): After frustration trying repeatedly to post pics to this site out of Google's Picasa host, I think I've stumbled on the routine: 1. Open your online Picasa album (website), the album with your model pics 2. Open the pic you want to insert into the IPMS forum 3. The intuitive thing to do is to obtain the link of the photo (along the right nav bar)-- nope ! doesn't do the job ... 4. You need to right click inside the opened pic(s) 5. select "Copy Image Location" 6. Switch back to your IPMS post & set your cursor (insertion point) where you want the top-left corner of the pic to go 7. Click the "insert image" button in tool bar row above post text field 8. right click in the insert image pop-up field (has http//: highlighted) & hit paste in there-- you're placing the image location here, *NOT* the link of the photo ... 9. Repeat for more photos you want to splice over 10. This seams to work for me ... Edited January 23, 2011 by bradco
philp
I do the right click and copy image location. Then just post in using img links.
