Dick Montgomery
I just finished up this 35th item from MiniArt from their Diorama Series. The figure is not included in the kit and is not painted or provided with his arms or headgear. He's there for scale. The manhole cover has been set ajar...and some interesting possibilities spring to mind about having a figure coming out of the manhole. Fun and easy to do....by the way...the kit does not provide any sort of foundation upon which to attach the street, retaining wall or steps. I cobbled up a box made from pink sheet insulation and painted it grey...
VonL
That's pretty cool. Begs for some sort of vehicles or boats.
Dick Montgomery
This is a MiniArt Diorama Section and I built it as a review item for IPMS. I chose not to put any vehicles or "non-kit" items on it, with the exception of the figure, to make sure that viewers would not expect the vehicle along with the scenery. It was fun to construct and is the future "base" for a Tamiya Jeep, which is just now hitting the workbench.
