GLW
Hi all, I'm putting a resin interior in s stug IIIB/C/D and on the firewall that devides the fighting compartment from the engine area is a large rectangular box, it may be ammo storeage but it covers a big part of the firewall. Anyway on this box are four dash objects that go across it. Wondering what they are and what color to paint them. Could they be leather pads to keep the crew from bouncing around? Any help gratefully received, squadron in action isn't helping. thanks G.L.
Mark Aldrich
Gary, Squadron also makes a Stug walk-around. I will look through it when I get home. Not sure if this helps but in Tamiya's kit of the "B" they are grenade holders. http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM35281 Edited September 22, 2010 by Mark Aldrich
Mark Aldrich
Gary, The Squadron walk around is of a G. However, the Osprey book agrees with Tamiya. The large box is a 12 round ammunition bin. The B carried 12 stick grenades in clips along the rear ammunition bin. Mark
