ARMORMAN
Hey all, Here's a link to my latest project: http://armorman.deviantart.com/gallery/ The hills were layered cardboard cut to shape and then covered with toilet paper soaked in watered down PVA (Elmer's) glue. Once dry, it was then covered with a mix of Gesso and texturing sand. The tree is a cardboard core with a piece of toilet paper tube wrapped around the base. The branches were cut from toilet paper tubes and carefully peeled apart and bent in different directions to make multiple branches. These were then glued into the "trunk." This was then covered with a Gesso/Toilet paper mix and then painted with Gesso/texturing sand.
VonL
Cool - looks like a far-future version of that too-sinister Russian ISU SPG. Good tips on doing the terrain effects - thanx for that.
