66Foxtrot
Here's Trumpeter's 1/48 Sea Fury, built OOB w/ the exception of Eduard PE seat harness. Airbrushed with MM Acryl, & Vallejo Model Air acrylics. Nice,.easy build with gosh-darned yuckky decals. The "invasion" stripes are part decal, part paint. Enjoy. 66Foxtrot
Looks Great! Did you have any problems spraying vallejo model air paint? Thanks Charles! Naaaah...Vallejo Model Air is brainless. I don't even thin it. I just squeeze some into the cup, and start spraying.
DennisTennant
I echo James' comments about ModelAir paint....wonderful stuff. An equal to Tamiya, IMHO.
ghodges
Very nice James! The stripes add some snazz to the scheme and the folded wings make it more interesting too! Congrats on another great build! GIL
MikeMoore
Always loved the Sea Fury...yours looks great James. Quick question about the Model Air paints. How's the adhesion? I remember trying some paints several years ago that I think were called Aircraft Colors and they came in the same eye dropper bottles the Vallejo stuff comes in. They sprayed fine, but were REAL delicate. Mike Edited April 12, 2010 by MikeMoore
DavidF
Outstanding James! Mike - I haven't had any adhesion problems with Vallejo as long as the surface was cleaned and primed.
adfogel
Terrific work, James! I'd like to pick up or trade for one of the Trumpeter Sea Furys as it is one of my all-time favorite aircraft. An outstanding job, sir! Later, Lee
