What mark and what period?

PR Spits were often single colour, both during and post-war.

Post-war, the RAF stripped the paint from many a/c, including Spits.

So, it depends on what mark and period you are modelling. :)

I don't build many props but I aquried an Academy MKXIVC kit and seeing all the camo schemes was wondering if there was a NMF or solid color scheme and if ther were American markings for this model.

A quick check of the references suggests either a post-war RAF or Belgian AF XIVC could be done in NMF. The USAAF didn't operate these. I'd suggest trawling the Internet - there are lots of websites with high-Spitfire content! :)
