papasmurf
In my younger "Smurfling" days, perhaps, but it would be very difficult to do precision work, in an "altered" mental state Mike!!! Funny image however!! Mental note: Dispatch troops immediately!!!

papasmurf
Holy .....Right!! Brian De Palma's take off on "Phantom of the Opera", with music by Paul Williams!! Well done!! Excellent "Cult" status film from the 70's, and a soundtrack that stills moves me today, good one Mike!! Picture clues included the "Studio" where the "Phantom" is held captive by soul seller, "Swan" played by Paul Williams. Instruments of the time are prominent in the image, as well as some of the "Phantom's" Costume. Verbal clues are self-explanatory now............another image coming soon! Damm Mike, I am impressed, few know of the film, and it was one of De Palma's first films on a professional level, if not the first!
papasmurf
I've been busy, stocked up on several "ready to go", film images, to keep the pace fast and steady! And maybe, a little furious! A new round........Oh my Valliant Video Combatants! As usual, the image first, no clues yet..............hehehehe............ LET THE GAMES BEGIN!! papasmurf
Nice work Stats-keeper Mike, cool Smurf, looks a little "wasted" to me though! "Smurfenpoints"???? Well, ok.............. !
papasmurf
As your first clue on this film, the image is actually a "quadrant", that's 4 images, as in a "Movie Promo" poster, so if your trying to figure the image, as a whole, it will utterly confuse you. 4 images, all spaced in 4 corners evenly, OK? The film is somewhat "obscure", but not for the "die-hard" SF Fans, that watch a lot of the genre, I'll leave you with those today........... papasmurf
"All quiet on the SF front"............too quiet, so another clue. This is yet another film, set in a "post-nuclear" wasteland, a popular theme in the 70's........... !

papasmurf
DANG IT!! YOU WENT BACK AND LOOKED AT MY ALL TIME FAV'S, YOU JUST KNEW I'D TRY THAT ONE!!! WELL DONE DAVE, INDEED, "A BOY AND HIS DOG" IS CORRECT! DON JOHNSON'S ONE-TIME SF FILM VENTURE!! WRITTEN BY HARLAN ELLISON, MY FAVORITE AUTHOR, AND, A WILD TALE OF POST-NUCLEAR SURVIVAL, ABOVE, AND BELOW GROUND. A "CULT" SF CLASSIC IF THERE WAS EVER ONE!! WELL DONE!!! Starring Don, as "Vic", and the talented Jason Robards, and other semi-well known actors, including the "telepathic" mutt, "Blood", who pretty much "steals" the show!! Higly entertaining, but not for the "kiddies", as there is some strong sexual content. The film begins with an assortment of Mushroom cloud clips, that was the "hidden" clue in the last given verbal clue. Image showed a quadrant of stills from the film, some of the Dog can be seen, as well as other details. If your familliar with the film, these would have jumped out at you. On to the next round players!

papasmurf
Oh, agreed, "Alien" was really a frightener, but that's a strike! This is as scary, but in another way............... "WHERE'S THE BRAIN!"
