MikeH
This is one I completed over a year ago. I fell in love with the "Austin Powers paint scheme" from the moment I saw the box art and ordered the kit from my LHS. It's a beautifully made kit and challenged my patience in the detail painting realm. If I thought it would be good enough, it wasn't and I made the effort to detail paint everything as needed. The orange & yellow were shot through an airbrush, and the dark mica blue is Tamiya rattle can. I made the base out of a wood plaque from Michael's and used the remainder of my mica blue paint, and copied some art from "The Doctor" Valentino Rossi's site. The most fun was trying to make the chain look convincing. I was honored when a talented local builder commented that "it looks real!"
