JLavender
Greetings, I thought I would share some of my work. All models are scratch built from boxwood and brass. The sea bases are carved and painted boxwood. All display cases and bases were built by myself. HMS Queen Mary, 1913. Mark Deliduka
Joseph, I am speechless! It is stunning how you managed to capture all that intricate detail in such small ships! I don't know how you do it! Without the coin (I love the shilling BTW) I would expect these to be fare bigger since so much incredible detail can be seen. Welcome to these Forums and thank you for showing these outstanding "calling cards".
JLavender
Thank you! The schilling is almost exactly 1” or 25mm. Makes for an easy reference. Currently I have HMAV Bounty under construction, photos of her coming soon. She’s at the rigging stage and nearly finished after 10 months of work. Up next will be something from the steam and steel era, or perhaps something from WWII. Edited September 15, 2022 by JLavender
