Greetings from Washington State:

Just recently returned to plastic modelling this year after some 20+ years. Like many of you, I have been building models since my childhood, but then we grow up and life gets very busy and hobbies get put on the back burner.
Now that I'm 61 years old and moving toward retirement, my interest in modelling has sparked once again. I have rekindled my interest by building the MENG 1/32 Fokker DR1 over the last 6 months, was a fun build and the first in a tall stack of kits in my new stash!
Next one on my work bench will be the LUKGRAPH - RAF BE2c premium resin kit, still doing research on the aircraft but really looking forward to his build as the BE2c is one of my favorite WW1 birds.

Thanks,

Quirk

Glad to have you here Grant! I think you're going to find that the kits are MUCH better today than those built many years ago. The down side is they are MUCH more expensive too! Looking forward to seeing those WWI subjects posted here. Let us know how we can help you have more fun as you dive back into the plastic pond!

ghodges,

During my building of the MENG DR1 I was amazed at the quality and detail provided in todays kits, and yes, they are way more expensive!

Welcome Grant! Wow, talking about jumping in with both feet! Very nice projects you have planned and going! Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks Mark,

In the middle of moving to Montana over the next month, but once that is completed its onto the BE2c. Forgot how much I enjoyed building plastic kits, and with the level of quality in todays products, they a blast to work on.
