Hot off the bench!

 

P-38G Lightning "Miss Virginia"
339FS 347FG 13AF
Flown by Lt. Rex Barber during Operation Vengeance on April 18th, 1943
Tamiya Kit #120 1/48 Scale
OOB except for Master gun barrels

That turned out very nicely. The yellow markings all look a bit subdued. Is that the decals being a bit translucent, or perhaps just the photo?

Thanks. It's the decals actual color I think. I would not call them translucent. They are somewhat thick.

I don't know why you would want to, unless you are concerned that yours will get lost among the plethora of 1/48 scale Tamiya Lightnings that are sure to be at the Nats. LOL! Personally I think that could hold it's own Jim!
