Boblvnv
We have just been informed by the Rio that we are now officially SOLD-OUT of all 2,400 room-nights. As a courtesy, they will honor the $89.00 discounted room rate for a few more days for weekdays ONLY! We will be reaching out to other resorts in the area to see if we can secure a discounted room rate for those that missed out. Thanks
Boblvnv
Received our monthly report from the Rio and was pleased to learn that we currently at 2,692 room-nights sold, which equates to 658 individual room reservations. Also received a fantastic email today from Jose Antonio Castrejon, Vice President of IPMS Mexico who informed me that he will be attending along with a contingent from his group. We welcome our south of the border model brothers and sisters and look forward to having them join us at the 21' Nats.
MRechlicz
Do visitors have to pay $15 a day, Or is there going to be a package deal for them?
dmorrissette
Best way is usually to register. That gets you in all week plus seminars, etc. @$55 versus $60 for the daily for four days Dave
EFGrune
Registering also gets you the swag bag which day-trippers don't get. Pin, decal, brochures, etc. You may be able to buy the decal sheet from a resale vendor after the show for an additional 10 to 20 bucks.

Bob, I like to go the Vegas regularly and was online looking at rooms and shows. I know that all the IPMS convention nights have been booked but I noticed that the Rio still has rooms available during the convention at regular rates. Perhaps you might like to contact them and see if they are interested in increasing our allotment.
Boblvnv
That is really a question for IPMS/USA and up until yesterday it was still uncertain as to what our attendance may be. What you may find interesting is that we already increased our room allotment twice before, and if we do not make our room allotment IPMS/USA will have to pay for every rooms we didn't fill. As you can imagine that could get expensive, something in the area of ten thousand dollars or more. As with any show, there are usually a few cancellations as you get closer to show date. As of now, the Rio is still honoring the $89.00 room night during the week, with regular pricing for the weekend. The discounted $25 resort fee applies to all nights. But your suggestion is a good one and I will address it with IPMS/USA. Thanks! Edited April 15, 2021 by Boblvnv
ShutterAce
It is my wish to have the ability to livestream to YouTube from the convention. In order for this to happen we must have 1000 subscribers to the channel. We are currently just shy of 600 subscribers. If you you would like to see live coverage from the convention please consider subscribing so that we can bring that to you. Thanks!
