PaulBradley
So, I acquired one of these for a tenner. Looks good in the box, but what's the scoop on accuracy and build?
Ralph Nardone
So, I acquired one of these for a tenner. Looks good in the box, but what's the scoop on accuracy and build? The good: It is cheap. Even when new, it can be found for less than $20. It builds up into a decent model. The bad: There are some detail issues with the kit. The heat exchanger vents are the earlier style, and the intake trunks are short. The ugly: Depending on how you look at things, the shape is off in several areas, most notable of them being the cockpit hump. John Chung did a three-part article on HyperScale that outlines his build. http://hsfeatures.com/features04/fa18ejc_1.htm http://hsfeatures.com/features04/fa18ejc_2.htm http://hsfeatures.com/features04/fa18ejc_3.htm Ralph
jbates
The Good: It is a Hornet. The Bad: It is Devil Scale. The Ugly: It cannot be built in Canadian markings. Hope this helps, :) Jim

Glynyrd
I thought the two different instrument panel decals were neat. One for lights on, and the other lights off. Glenn
Dreamsof51
Not bad for the money. Looks like a Hornet when it done and best of all in the scale thats easy on aging eyes. Decals gave some silvering issues gloss coat real good. Thought the landing gear was the best part of the model.
