F6F finished...

Well, after 10 long weeks on this one, it's done. This is Eduard's version with all their goodies. My extras include gun barrels, antenna wiring and resin wheels. I will have to say that Eduard is the new Tamiya in my book. The level of detail and fit was superb. The decals are some of the best as well. They have little or no carrier film which lessens silvering even more. The finish is MM acrylics with AB and pastel weathering. Comments always welcomed...

Just got the weekend edition of this same kit. Can't wait to get crackin' on it. I bought the Aires cockpit for it but might not need it.

Good work, I agree about the paint scheme. Love it!

Andy,

Very nice (even if it is a plane). Looks great. I have read reviews of Eduard's Hetzer and it was all good too. Keep them coming!

Dennis, is the weekend version like Dragon's Smart Kit?

Sweet Hellcat! I've built the old Otaki and the Hasagawa F6Fs, can you make a comparison? What problems (if any) did you overcome? One of my favorite schemes too, and you nailed it! Thanks for sharing!
