noelsmith Posted June 5, 2019 Report Share Posted June 5, 2019 Gerald Wingrove, renowned professional model maker passed away during March this year, following the sad loss of his wife and business partner Phyllis last year. Gerald is best known for his exquisite car models that so!d to private collectors world wide, and for his books "The Complete Car Modeller' volumes 1 and 2 where he generously described his techniques to be shared by others. His late wife Phyllis drafted up many of their intricate car plan drawings on CAD for the folios that hey sold as part of their business. Having met Gerald from time to time over the years, I found him to be most generous with both his time and willingness to help and advise.
