Mark Deliduka
As promised, here's "Old Burnt Face" finally off the Shelf of Doom. After three years, I just did what I had to do to finish this up. This is the ancient Monogram 1/72 scale Boeing 737 done up in United Airlines livery: You can see the wrinkled decals somewhat in the second pic. This is an excellent five-foot model! Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.
Roktman
Very nice job! Cool work on the smooth fuselage paint. I can never seem to get a smooth coat.
Mark Deliduka
Thanks Kevin! That is about eight coats of white and nine of clear gloss! It's the closes thing I've ever come to getting a smooth coat of paint.
ghodges
Sweet! That old Aurora mold has seldom looked so good. You also did a fantastic salvaging the decals! Congrats! Gil
Mark Deliduka
Thank you Gil, you honor me more than I deserve. I kinda had no choice in salvaging those decals, there are no others available! LOL! Thank you again for your kind and generous praise.
