75 gal. Drop tanks for P-51A

It's not that hard to do....get a spool of solder in the size you think looks right for the fuel lines. It cuts easily, bends easily, and holds its shape. Drill holes and cut it to length for the lines. Make the insulators by simply wrapping strips of tape around the lines at the proper places. That will work well for 1/48 and 1/72; and you can do more for 1/32 and 1/24 where more detail can be seen.

FWIW Bass Pro Shops has a number of different gauge (tiny)  lead wire. I didn't know about this assortment pack, and bought a few individual spools.  Each spool has enuff to last a lifetime. 😉
