BryanKrueger
This is my current build of the Takom KV-5 released a few years ago. The details are not as finessed as a Trumpeter KV-1 and there have been some fit issues mostly due to flash in thru holes. I picked the kit up for $20 at a swap meet so that kinda takes the sting out of needing to buy TWO sets of fruil tracks! It's been detailed with the Voyager PE set. I may spring for the dedicated fender set but not sure if I'm keen on all that soldering. :roll:The kit welds were not at the plate joints so I'm replacing all those with stretched sprue welds or Archer welds as needed. I used sewing pins clipped to length for the track pains. 107 links each side.

BryanKrueger
Here are some images of the KV-5. The mud is a little redder than I would have wanted and may go back and adjust it.Additional images can be found here - KV-
