Day was flying when he was killed in 1945. I particularly need the side number and Bu. No. of the aircraft. I know the general marking of the aircraft. I've already found this site: http://www.f4ucorsair.com/vmf312/312.html that has a nice photo of Maj. Day, but not a photo of his aircraft. All help appreciated.
