TGarthConnelly
Well, today was the day every week when I go to my model guy's and watch him build my kits. My Heller 1:72 P-47N-2-RE as CHAUTAUGUA is - I'll say 95% complete. It's painted and decaled. All he needs to paint is: the stripes on the wings, the canopy framing, the tailwheel, and inside the cowling, put the HVAR rockets on the wings and the dullcoat and it's done. I've got to say, ... the Heller kit, whereas it's an older kit and it's cockpit is basic at best and there isn't even a decal for the instrument panel, it's not a bad little kit and what I saw - it has a nice tight fit. The landing gear, at least - to me - looks a little tall - but I can't tell ... The KITSWORLD decals are GREAT - really crisp - they provide decals for the propeller but no instructions as to where they go. Had to consult a picture of RED-E-RUTH for that ... but I really, really like the decals!
