CH-34 Choctaw Completed

Well, one hangar queen is on the shelf and completed. After waiting for ARMY decals for my Gallery 1/48th Marine CH-34, this is the result of that wait. Hoping someone would come out with decals was to no avail. Calling, E-mailing Gallery about buying a set of their ARMY decals from the model that they produce proved fruitless also. I waited and waited, then I had an idea. I went to my local Hobby Town hobby shop and asked the owner if he could try and round a set up for me. Two weeks later he called and said they are at the store to be picked up. Thanks, Steve (Hobby Town Orland Park, Il). Found out the distributor had to open a model up and get them for him that way. Anyway, with decals in hand I was able to get this bird done.

Feedback appreciated..both good and bad.

Thanks for looking. More pics in the "on the bench" forum.
