Eric
I can't say if it's a new tooled or just an updated kit but there were photos on Armorama site of the kit and spruces at a Japan hobby show. Eric
Mike Delano
http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=mod...le&sid=5138 It claims to be a completely new tooling. I don't think it's a trap.

TimDarrah
From what I've read, it's a semi-new tool of the old kit from the '70s.
Guest Bun E. Carlos
Thanks Tim.................I'll have to read a review on it first now.............I saw what they did with the other semi-new releases.............it would be nice thou! TimHortman
I saw this & am also looking forward to what it is all about. I'd like to have a new kit, but even if the old kit is improved I'll likely pick one up. I've always had a soft spot for the stuff used in North Africa... TimDarrah
I found the review for you. It's in the March '09 issue of Scale Military Modeller International" on page 22. It says that there is no new gear with the kit and from what the reviewer said, it's the exact same kit that was released in 1973. You might find more info on the Tamiya website. TimHortman
Yes - thanks for the links Jim! I wouldn't be surprised if Tamiya re-issued their old kit before the new one came out just to get "one last push" on sales. Looking forward to the kit!
