Hello, Everybody!

I started building in grade school, just a few cars and an airplane or two. I fell in love with Formual One racing in the 50s when reading my dad's Road & Track magazines, then my dreams came true in 1960 when we moved to Germany and started going to the actual races. We went to Spa that year and in 1961, several trips to the Nurburging, and once to Reims in France. Moved back to the states in 1965, but I didn't think about modeling until my dad gave me Tamiya's 1/12 Ferrari 312T. Since then I've built quite a few more Tamiya 1/12 GP cars, also quite a few 1/16 road cars, and the occasional oddball kit like the Entex 1/16 1914 Dennis Fire Engine. I'm basically an OOB builder, but I want to improve in some areas so I decided to sign up here. I stopped following F1 after Senna was killed; I somehow never liked Schumacher much. But I still love the older stuff the most, but I haven't built all of the Tamyia kits because I'm tired of building the Ford Cosworth V8!

Looking forward to chatting with some of you in the future.

Cheers,

Bruce
