I remember when the last of these planes were being built back at the Vought Plant in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1974. I was a young engineering intern then as I walked from Engineering Building 194 through the Mezzanine to the Drafting area, carrying drawings, and back to my desk, about a one mile round trip. I could hear the extremely loud noises along the manufacturing area as I saw the A-7s in Final Assembly.
